Tracing its roots back to the original partnership formed in 1969 in St. Neots and St. Ives in Cambridgeshire, Four Counties Insurance Brokers remains committed to providing customers with independent advice from a carefully selected panel of insurance companies and policies.
2005 saw the merger of The Insurance Shop from Desborough into Four Counties, and the subsequent growth of our Equine insurance department.
In the spring of 2008, Four Counties joined the CCV Group of companies, which in 2010 became one of the top 25 UK insurance broking firms, handling a gross written premium of £300,000,000. Our association with CCV gave us the financial backing to extend our business and the range of excellent services and products we can offer our customers. CCV is now part of Towergate Insurance Brokers, and on 1st November 2015, Four Counties becomes part of Towergate Insurance Brokers.
Later in 2008, we acquired Camouse Insurance Services of Willingham and then Flitwick Insurance of Flitwick.
In 2009 we acquired Kempston Insurance Services.
In 2010 we acquired Derek Buckett Insurance Services.
In 2013 we acquired two offices of Norwich & Peterborough Insurance Brokers Ltd., and increased our presence in the Specialist Household Insurance area, of High Value Home Insurance, Timber Framed Insurance and Conversion and Renovated properties
Although as a company we have considerably grown in size, our dedicated team of experienced customer service advisors and insurance brokers continue to offer a personal, professional service to all our customers who expect unbiased advice on a wide choice of products.
Time and again, we have proved that a choice of insurance provider keeps costs low, not just in the first year, but each year thereafter as we review all policies, every year, and advise customers accordingly.
We believe that a pro-active approach in a competitive market means we remain competitive.
